As with the other models in the 4 Series lineup, spy shots of the facelifted BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe have emerged. The prototype, seen with the optional M Sport Package, appears to be a 430i in US flavor due to the orange side markers and non-M Performance exhaust tips.
The updated 4 Series Gran Coupe retains the love/hate vertical kidney grille that has been a topic of discussion since its introduction. The test vehicle also showcases new headlights and a slightly different rear spoiler compared to the current model.
While our spies weren’t able to capture the interior, changes are expected to be minimal. The 4 Series Gran Coupe has already received the iDrive 8 system with dual screens and a compact gear selector. Possible updates could include upholstery and trim enhancements, but it remains uncertain whether BMW will update the infotainment to the 8.5 version.
Insiders from the Bimmer Post forums suggest that BMW may discontinue the M440i with rear-wheel drive, leading to a price increase of $2,000 for the sportiest 4 Series Gran Coupe variant. Notably, an M4 Gran Coupe is not in the pipeline.
